He also enjoyed woodworking and made many household pieces of furniture. He is surviced by two sons, Jerry Pinewski and Jim Phillips, both of Aber deen; four daughters, Anna Dean of Tacoma, Wash., Audry Frazier of West Minister, Calif., Barbara Smith of U m atilla and K a th e rin e D a ile y o f Nashville, Tenn.; three brothers; four sisters, and 12 grandchildren. He died July 8 in a Newport hospital. He was 65. Born in Leadville, Colo., he had been a resident of South Beach for the past four years. P rior to that he lived in Sandy and Wemme where he worked in con struction and maintenance in the Mount Hood National Forest for the U S. Forest Service for 12 years. He retired in 1977 He served in the U.S A r my during World War II. He is survived by his wife Genevieve of South Beach; a daughter, Catherine Ken ney of Siletz; two sons, Wayne Wyman of Siletz and R aym ond Lee of Eugene, and one grand child.
