She is a 1982 graduate of Sandy Union High School and plans to continue her education at the University of Oregon to major in business and communications with an emphasis in advertising. She would also like to minor in theater arts and English. During school, she was active as class treasurer, on rally, band, St. Michael's Teen Club secretary and treasur er, Ski Club, Girl Scouts, dance team assistant and captain Counterpoints, speech club, St. Michael’s Folk Choir, Per formers, water polo, Sandy Area Camera Club secretary, nominee for scholar of the month, GRASP student, YMCA Youth Legislature representative and was in numerous plays. She enjoys skiing, swimming, golf, dancing and perform ing. She has chosen a career in advertising, however would also like to pursue a career as an actress or model. For her talent presentation, she plans to do a jazz dance.
