Hood M eadow s recently announced the presentation of “ High M eadow s Summer/estival.** a sum mer weekend celebration of music and art to be held at Mt Hood Meadows August 20. 21 and 22 The “ High Meadows Summer/est i val” will com bine the finest in Northwest music and art with the natural beauty of Oregon's Mt Hood region. P o r t la n d ’s th re e -d a y festival of the visual and performing arts located in the downtown transit mall Although the festival schedule of events is not final, the High Meadows Summerfestival” will in cluda appearances by a variety of local musicians, with styles ranging from popular to country and bluegrass The festival highlight will be a perfor mance by nationally known artists on August 21 In addition to an em phasis on music, the "High M eadow s Summerfestival” will also feature works from Nor- tiäQdkmd.
