JONES Pool C o rm po n drnt know as Rhododendron Meadows and is fed by a number of springs During the summer mon ths the upper regions of the s tre a m d ra w on underground springs, keep ing the water flowing in the lower three-quarters Two of which emerge from beneath two large alders Rhododendron’» Meadow Creek is believed to be a good h ab ita t for coho salmon, according to a re cent survey of the stream by the state Department of Kish and Wildlife J a y M as se y, a fish b io lo g is t a s s ig n e d to Clackamas County, includ ed a survey of the stream in a recent visit to the area M eadow C re e k , sometimes referred to on old maps as Meadowbrook Creek, is a mere one mile long and a tributary of Henry Creek The stream meanders through a- wetland area Residents living near the stream claim that it has resident trout as well as both steelhead and coho salmon The steelhead and coho return to spawn in its waters each year. Massey said the stream appears to be able to sup port additional fish and could return to its earlier S U H S art sh o w set A student art show will be held today and tomor row in the Sandy Union High School gymnasium in co n ju n ction w ith S p r ingiest. The show will be held from 2 to 3:30 p m today and from 8 a m p m Friday till 2:30 ro le as an im p o rta n t stream with a little work. He said that further studies will be conducted on the creek and it could be in cluded in the department’s Salmon.
