7 '»¿8 M M W i M ei — Spring classes, activities set; registration underway at center The Sandy Department of Com munity Services has announced a series of spring classes and recreation activities for Sandy residents Registration for the classes w ill begin April 5 at the Sandy Com m unity Center, .38348 Pioneer Boulevard, from 8 30 a m to 5 p m Registration may also be completed by mail. Easter egg hunters to scour park Al, persons interested in the problems of nuclear warfare are invited to a t tend The 3*> minute film w ill be fo..owed by a discussion moderated by a member of the Great Deci sions class The Sandy Kiwanis Club w ill sponsor an Easter Egg Hunt next Saturday, April 10. at 10:30 a m in Meimg M em orial Park, behind Sandy City Hall Project chairman Randy Oliver anticipates a bigger and better event than in previous years The hunt w ill be divided into four age groups, up to 2 years, 2-4, 5-7, and 8 10 The club credits the help of Sandy junior high and high school students who hard boil and color the 100 dozen eggs and help hide the eggs and candy Prize eggs w ill also be found w ith the prizes donated by the Sandy Area Chamber of Commerce and local businesses. Kiwanis asks that the youngsters bring their own baskets or sacks for collec ting the eggs.
