13 and 14 years of age will
be March 24 at 5 at the
SUHS field

Chess Club perm anent

The club will meet in the
Women’s Club building on
Salmon River Road in
Welches every Wednesday
night at 7 30
The chess club, formed
four years ago. is compris­
ed of both novice and tour
nament players An annual
tournament is held, as are
occasional skills matches
against other clubs in the
state

Workout schedule set
A workout schedule has
been set up for the Cinder
Hawks track team
They will meet from 5 30
to 7 p m on Tuesdays at
Cedar Ridge Junior High
and on Thursdays at the
Bull Run Grade School,
again from 5 30 to 7 p m
They will meet Saturdays
at noon at the Mt Hood
Community College track
and gym.
Sessions will also be held,
for those in the area able to
make it, at 5:30 at the
Reynolds High School
track
Youngsters may at these
times join the club A 120
fee is required for the
AAUTAC
A photostatic copy of
one's birth certificate is
also needed if one qualifies
for the Junior Olympics
