Oregon State University
and is open to all Orego
nians interested and/or in
volved in agriculture

The afternoon sessions
include one on the outlook
for agriculture in 1982. and
another on the use of
m ic ro -c o m p u te rs
in
agriculture.
Day two of the con
ference gets underway
with a general session on

a g r ic u lt u r a l
c r e d it,
m oderated by Manning
B ecker, OSU exension

m anagem ent
specialist.
This session will em
phasize how agricultural
producer? can deal with
high interest rates and
what interest rates may do
in the future
In the afternoon, the
s e m in a r
on
m ic r o
c o m p u te rs
w ill
be
re p e a te d . In a n o th e r
sem in ar, Gene Nelson,
OSU e x te n s io n
fa r m
m anagem ent specialist,
will discuss changes in in
come and estate planning
for farmers and ranchers
made by recent revisions in
federal tax law.
The final full day of the
conference will be devoted
to a sy m p o s iu m
on

agronomist.
