Inside the church: Thur» SDA pastor on the job Bernell Clark, formerly pastor of the McMinnville Seventh day A d v e n tis t Church, is the neu pastor of the Sandy SDA Church He succeeds Terry Zull. who in August became pastor of the Adventist Church in Medford “ We love it here,” the new pastor said, “ and all the peo pie are just terrific We have come to serve not only the church, but the community as well “ Clark has held pulpits in Texas and Kansas, as well as in Oregon He holds a b a c h e lo r’s degree in theology from Southwestern Adventist College, Keene. Texas, and a master of divinity degree from An drews University, Berrien Springs, Mich The new pastor's wife, Karen, is a registered nurse at P o rtla n d A d v e n tis t Medical Center She holds a bachelor's degree in nursing from Union College. Lincoln, Neb She taught students of nursing at Southwestern Adventist College, where the Bernell and Karen Clark couple met A son. The B ib le in hand m eetings w ill contin ue th rough Nov. 21, w ith meetings scheduled on Sun days, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays Kathy Boyd will present a "Fun With Food” cooking class every Wednesday evening from 6:50 to 8 p m. The popular “ Kathy's Kitchen Korner” sessions w ill relate good nutrition to health and zest for life.
