The bride-to-be is a recent graduate of Sandy Union High School and w ill be a t tending Mt Hood Communi ty College this fall, m ajoring in retail management. She is the daughter of Mr. Crafts celebrate 50th and Mrs C arroll R Rader of Sandy The groom is also a Sandy High graduate, employed at Safeway as a meatcutter He is the son of Mr. and Mrs Richard Pullen of San dy The wedding w ill take place in February George and Alta Craft of Wailuku. Hawaii, celebrated their 50th wedding anniver sary this month The celebration was a t tended by Grant and Velma DeShazer of Welches. The Crafts were m arried July 1, 1931, in Honolulu and have lived in Hawaii for most of the 50 years. The ex ception was from 1934 to 1940, when George C raft worked as a pharmacist for F re d M e y e r, In c . The C rafts owned and operated a drug store in Hawaii until their re tire ment in 1971 Their son, G. Robert Craft, and his fam ily now own the fa m ily corpora Peterson enlists in A ir Force Bruce E Peterson of San dy has joined the U.S. A ir Force’s Delayed Enlistm ent Program Peterson enlisted July 14 and is scheduled for enlist ment in the regular A ir Schmidt sent to Lackland for training Dean E Schmidt of Sandy las enlisted in the United Itates A ir Force. Schmidt, the son of Ed- nond and Delores Schmidt if Cottontail Lane, is a 1981 graduate of Sandy Union ligh School. Schmidt left July 8 for .ackland A ir Force Base in ?exas. Force Sept. 2. The 1978 Sandy Union High School graduate w ill go through the six-week basic training course, then receive further training in the field of electronics.
