4 SANDY (O r» ) POST Thur» July 9 19 8 1 (S*c I Set for Brightwood area Senior Center News The Sandy Senior Silver tones w ill be one of several musical groups featured in tonight's Sandy Mountain Festival Parade at 7 30 p m Seniors are invited to enjoy the parade from the Sandy Community Center lawn to get a first rate view of all the entries Seniors are asked to lend a hand d u rin g the Sandy Senior C enter’s Thursday and F r id a y a fte rn o o n p r e p a r a tio n s fo r the weekend Mountain Festival Volunteers w ill assist with baking cookies and fru it crisp which w ill be sold at the Senior Center booth The work session w ill be held from 1:30 to 4 p m Thursday and I to 4 p m F ri day. The Sandy Senior Center w ill host a breakfast Sunday, July 12, from 6 to 10 a m The menu w ill include eggs, ham, hashbrowns and m uf fins Tickets may be obtain ed in advance at the center or may be pruchased at the door Sunday morning The breakfast public is open to the Next Wednesday.
