Sandy firm fined $400 A Sandy firm has recently been assessed a civil penalty for violation of the Oregon Homebuilders Law by the Builders Board of the State Department of Commerce A $400 civil penalty was assessed a g ain st Sandy Floorcovering, Inc., for con tracting to install floorcover ing in a residence while not registered The Builders Board was e s ta b lis h e d in 1972 to register all persons who per form work on residences As of June 1, 15,363 builders were actively registered in Oregon.
