Gallagher said "W e 've never had to go that far, and we hope we don't,” he said " A renter has a right to be protected by a smoke detector,” said Clyde Cen ters. Oregon fire marshal The law also requires that owner-occupied dwellings be equipped with a smoke detector at the time of sale ' i t would be helpful if realtors and other professionals involved in home sales would advise sellers of this requirem ent." Centers said He said his office has received many reports of fires where detectors saved lives and property , but also some reports of detector failures. Dec 24. firefighters responded to a shed fire on Revenue Road as part of a nutual aid with the Boring F ire D istrict They responded in a sim ilar capacity that same day to a flue fire at a Hauglum Road -esidence Last Wednesday. the district responded to ar. automobile accident on Firwood Road, about one mile off Highway 26. No one was injured F rida y.
