Center may gain funding fo r vehicle
Sandy Senior Services is a
group on the move, and their
expanding activities may be
aided soon by the county's
$1.350 funding for a station
wagon.
The vehicle—to be pur­
chased used in a state sur­
plus sale, w ill enable small
groups to take outside

seniors requesting personal
transportation assistance for
shopping, paying bills and

Some 20-25 handicapped
seniors have been served by

thritis. and hearing disor­
ders. as well as problems in

Registration is open for

trips,

Jantzen Beach and Van­
couver Mall on April 14, the
Grotto on April 28 and Salem
Cherry Blossoms which w ill
be scheduled within the next
two weeks.
A trip to Reno may be
planned for June if enough
interest is shown. This would
be a three day, two night trip
w ith tra n sp o rta tio n , ac­
commodations and a free
coupon book included in the
cost

potluck for Hoodland area
seniors at the Mt Hood Lions
