For the past four years he has been head designer for the Sunburst Pattern System “ I love to show women the magic of short cut methods used by professional garment manufacturers,” Burke says. “ I t ’s ridiculous for even a poor seamstress to have have to use the current methods that are being taught today.” “ Most of these sewers can learn many of the manufac turers techniques by just having them accurately described. If the garment manufacturers started using the same sewing techniques that are commonly taught to the average home sewer the cost of ready made clothing would rise astronomica&y.” Burke has been in the gar ment industry for the past 22 years and has worked with every phase of the production of garments, from designing of the pattern, cutting and making the pattern, choosing the fabric and color coordination for manufacture, and supervising the construction of the gar ment Open house planned for anniversary Regular or Thick Armour Star M e a t or B eef Hygrade Dañóla BaNpark Franks Sliced M eats AH Meat or AH Bee* 6 Varieties A, t Florida Famous Fancy Rome Beauty California Apples Grapefruit S jo o l 5 ,,$1°° Ubpkl For baking, sauce or lunch box.
