The Welches volleyball team
has had a great season of seven
wins and two losses They were
d e fe a te d by C o ttre ll and
Redland early in the season.
They are making a strong
comeback after winning their
rem atch with Cottrell. There
w ill be a home game this
F rid a y
afternoon at 3:45.
Orient w ill be the opponent.
The final two games of the
season are also home games
with Redland on Oct. 25 and
Corbett on Oct. 29.
Jeanine Boldt is the coach
and she feels volleyball is a
good way to learn sports
manship and teamwork. F irst
team consists of Stella Landis,
captain; B arbara Haugh and
Colene McDonald are both
outstanding servers, supported
by Leslie Mann, Karen Knapp
and M ichelle Bradley
Anyone who enjoys spectator
sports w ill enjoy seeing these

CLUB is getting together every

workshop to make decorations
and everything imaginable to
help you decorate your home
for Christmas. The big Bazaar
w ill be held on the weekend
following Thanksgiving but the
club needs lots of help to

all the teachers to instruct
them in the proper method of
brushing.
If the habit is
ingrained in the child it w ill be
a lifelong habit.
Explanatory letters were
sent to parents and some did
not want their children to take
part in the daily brushing and
weekly fluoride treatments.
The fluoride waas donated to
the school by the state and the
school provided the tooth
brushes

the potluck dinner in his honor
from far and near also took
part in the Government Camp
Olympics,
Mike Caruthers won the
firewood splitting contest, Bill
Brett the tobacco spitting
match, Joey M arlow the cone
throwing contest. Matheus won
the dog derby and the Junior
maple bar contest.
Bob Butler captured the prize
for maple bar and coffee eat
off, and M argaret Waber and
Kelly Quint tied for honors in
the pan handling test.

Wendy Evans and Dave Butt
were the instigators with lots of
