Elm er’s Pancake House, which is about to open around the corner on Burnside, was another property sale by Snyder Bros. Also the pioneer company has sold a site for a new motel nearby which w ill be called Lodges by Hodges, Archie Hodges, owner A & W Restaurant as well as Gary Dempsey of Recreational Sales got their building site through Snyder Bros. Harvey Snyder, sole owner of the real estate firm , said he has about 10 more acres for com m ercial building sites in the immediate area Auto Lab on Cleveland and 8th St. was another Snyder tran saction Harvey Snyder says he is proud of the kind of com m ercial development he has been able to bring to the area. Snyder Bros, has been in business for 22 years. There are eight salesmen. Several have been with the firm for 20 years and that includes Leonard Snyder, the brother in the firm name. Harvey has great faith in the Gresham area and believes the city has done a good job on zoning. Harvey helped organize and was the first president of Real Estate Marketing Associates for the Gresham area He helped organize Oregon Trail Savings & Loan Association and is a director He believes it has been a great asset to the community. Harvey also served for 15 years on the Gresham High School District Board.
