Mands b r*id r one of Ih r company’* There's seems to be water, water everywhere in our area. But nurserymen and berry growers must have a private supply for successful crops The rain is great but it doesn’t always come at the right time. This is when Bergh Machinery Co. steps in For the past 26 years Dale Bergh has been supplying pumps for irrigation and domestic water supplies. In all those 26 years Bergh has let his neighbors know of his service through the classified ads in The Outlook. In the peachy pages you'll find his ad for Jacuzzi pumps Bergh calls these pumps the best in the world, manufactured by one of the biggest jet pump companies in the world. Bergh take pride in the service he gives customers. He says people don't realize where to get service until the water goes off. Then they panic. He is ready to service the pumps he sells at any time. p rirr items I t I* a J a c u u i shallow w ell pump llerg h sells and service* a wide line of pomps plu* (arm machinery. « (Outlook photo) Irrigation by sprinkler started to become a big thing in the area in about 1952. All big nurseries now irrigate with a sprinkler system. One system, for which Bergh supplied the equipment, can automatically irrigate 20 acres at a time without moving. Ditch irrigation costs too much and wastes too much water, Bergh says. He sells everything for the family farm. Family farms are getting fewer but they are getting bigger because it takes more mechanical equipment to farm profitably. Bergh says he caters to customers who want local parts and service, but he must operate at a price to give a small profit. "That's the name of the game " Besides Jacuzzi pumps. Bergh Machinery sells A llis-C halm er Tractors, industrial machinery, plus equipment for use on smaller acreage. Dale Bergh says, "We service the equipment we sell And naturally if its equipment we've sold we're quicker to service it." - INSIDE THIS WEEK - See Our exciting new Garden Section for all your Gardening Needs * 2 .5 0 Runs A 1 0 -W o rd A d 4 T im e s !!
