of signatures to prohibit the
astronaiis from reading the
Bible from their capsule in
space
If a law should be passed
against it, it is only a hop, skip
and a jump to have a test cate
and the Supreme Court declare
the capsule is "the astronauts
publicly owned home", and
therefore to uniformly apply
the laws, no Bible reading may
be permitted in homes' Bible-
burn ing is nothing new in
history—it took place in many

investigation.
The Comprehensive Plan is
c o n tro v e rs ia l an d serious
differences of opinion still exist
even among the members of
the Advisory Planning Com­
m ission
who
supposedly
worked on the plan. The public
interest would have been far
better served by urging our
county officials to launch an
aggressive cam paign to inform
the citizens on the contents of
the Comprehensive Plan This
can only be accomplished by
p u b lic n o tific a tio n , p u b lic
e x p la n a tio n ,
and
p ub lic
meetings throughout the county
p rio r to c o n s id e rin g
th e
adoption of any plan

Merchants Association at the
Plaza
Money earned from the flea
market w ill be given to the
Kidney Association of Oregon

Craft Shop or Mary Jo at the
