You'd be amazed how quickly your child can learn to play the piano or accordion by taking private lessons from Glenda Hofstad She has been teaching in Gresham since 196« and through those years has depended exclusively on Gresham Outlook classified ads to let people know she has room for another pupil. Mrs. Hofstad is an accredited teacher who has taught for 16 years. She took training at the University of British Columbia and from Majorie Trotter, a highly regarded Portland piano teacher. Most of her students are young children, but she welcomes persons of any age. The private instructions can be given either in the day time or evening. She has instructions six days a week. Mrs. Hofstad has periodic recitals for her students. Some of these are private. But at least once a year she produces a music festival in which her students can perform for the public. Prom 20 to 30 pupils perform in these festivals Mrs. Hofstad is a member of the Oregon Music Teachers Association and thus meets all state teaching requirements. She is happy to answer any question about her teaching.
