CARRIE ANNE FRIBERG
Clyde
Sutherland, Super
intendent of the Sandy Elem en
tary schools who spoke on
school budgeting. He pointed
out why the 1 1/2 per cent
lim itation on true cash value
as
proposed by the
Home
Owners’ Association would be
very detrimental to Oregon’s
educational system . The p re
sent m illage system against
a ssessed valuation
Is much
more satisfactory and re a listic ,
he said.
M rs. Hoffmann spoke on per-
sonel development through vo
cational study, neatness in p er
sonal appearance, spiritual d e
velopment, and the very great
importance of a sm ile.
