b o ilers, with an otl standby
system , and complete air con­
ditioning equipment.
Enough of the work Is to be
completed by Oct. 1, 1908, to
supply service to the vocational
technical building and the health
and recreation. All work Is to
tie completed by Jan. 1, 1909.

land, was successful bidder on
construction of a vocational-
technical shop building for Mt.
Hood Community C ollege.
The Emerick firm submitted
a low basic bid of $808,900,
Directors of the East Side Area
Education District decided to
exercise Alternate No. 2, d e­
ducting $20,800 for use of tllt-
up concrete walls tn place id
brick. This will result In a
contract price of $788,100.
Other bidders were: How­
ard Brewton, Portland, $809,-
987 basic le ss $19,000 on Al­
ternate $2; Contractors Inc.,

Plans call for a single-story,
43,000 - square - foot building
providing classroom and shop

crete topping. Site work Will
include drainage and construc­
