Struttman, Rt. 1, Sandy, Ore., was assigned to the 56th Trans portation Company Aug. 20 at Tan Son Nhut Air Base, Viet nam. Pvt. Struttman, a shop supply sp ecialist, entered the Army in September 1966, completed hts basic training at Ft. Lewis, Wash., and arrived overseas August 2. Council Holds Services In Sandy Church Dinner Is Success Hie St. Michael’s Women’s Club reported that their annual ham dinner was quite su cc ess ful, being even better attended than last year. The St. Michael’s Parish ex pressed their appreciation to the public for making the dinner such a su ccess. Hie Wunen’s Missionary Council met for serv ices at the Surely Assembly of Gcxl Church, last Tuesday, Sept. 12. Two serv ices were held with Mrs. Annie Walton, of Portland, as the speaker. Mrs. Walton, Is the State President <f the Women’s Missionary Council of the A ssem blies of God, Two skits were used In the after noon serv ice, with the ladles from the local church taking part. A potlunch luncheon was served and a cake was presented to Mrs, Walton, who with her husband Is planning a trip around the world to see the m issionaries from the Oregon District. The Sbndy church also presented M rs, Walton with a gift In appreciation for her 21 years at service as state pre sident. Churches from the North Willamette section attended these serv ices.
