Every- w>e was deeply shocked at his passing, and the mountain is not going to be quite the same without his pleasant smiling face. Martha and George McLane called me to say that their Himalayan cat is missing. They let her cut a week ago Sunday morning, and they haven’t seen the cat since. It is half Persian and half Siamese and is dusty colored. Also answers to the name of Dusty. Dusty loved to climb into cars, and they are afraid this is what happened. So if you drove home and found a beautiful cat in your car, it just could be LMsty, and the I McLains would be most happy if you would let them know. They live in the Welches area, almost up to the old Tawney Hotel. | My apologies to Alyce Spath, for saying her sisters name was Williams, it is Wilson. I just got key happy on the typewriter. David's Father's Day was certainly brightened, when be fore we were even awake, son George, burst in and sang Hap py Fathers day to him. What a ghastly was to have to wake up, but it isn’t every one that re ceives a singing card. Jennie Talbert is in the hos pital for major surgery. Our very best to her for a speedy recovery. Our deepest sympathy to the family of Leroy Dark, who passed away last Sunday. Mr. Dark lived at Wildcat. Was listening tothenews, and heard that Stan Terry has moved his own decorated pots, tn front of his establishment in Port land, and this small voice, out of the wilderness, would like it to be known, that I think his decorated tree pots, are a great improvement over the others on the Portland city streets.
