Seasonings and sauces can add
a “d ifferen t” touch. As a basic
recipe, add 1 teaspoon salt and
Vs teaspoon pepp. r to each pound
of ground beef. Onion, g arlic or
celery sa lt m ay be substituted
for V4 of the salt, if desired. An
eighth teaspoon thym e, m a rjo
ram , basil or oregano m ay be
used in p lace of the pepper.
