T he bride is the d au g h ter of Mr. and Mrs. O tto M otejl, Sandy, and th e groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C harles H aldors, P o rtlan d . D ressed in w h ite an tiq u e silk, the b rid e w alked dow n the aisle on th e arm of h er fath er. H er gow n w as floor- len g th w ith a tra in , trim m ed in lace aro u n d a scoop n eck line w hich topped an em p ire w aist w ith th re e - q u a rte r length sleeves. H er sh o u ld er length illusion veil was held by a sm all crow n of seed p earls and she c arried a nose gay of yellow roses. Miss Je a n n e Scales, Sandy, w as m aid of honor. She w ore a chem ise dress of m in t g reen lace o v er ta ffe ta w ith a bow in back and a g reen p ictu re hat. H er bo u q u et was a cas cade of gold and bronze dahlias. O pen house w ill be held Sunday, A ugust 24 at the W om an’s C lub hall in Sandy in observance of th e 25th w edding an n iv ersary of Mr. and Mrs. E dw ard M. Schm itz of Kelso. H ours w ill be from 2 to 4 PM and th e couple asks th a t th ere are to be no gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Schm itz w ere m arried A ugust 23, 1933 in St. M ichael’s C hurch in Sandy and have m ade th e ir hom e in this area since.
