Mrs. Lauzon, who seldom listens to a radio happened to pay attention one day when her husband tuned in for 5 minutes, during which time an announce ment of the contest was made. A 5 o'clock dinner was served on the lawn. Fortunately, it had rained the night before or we would have been smothered with dust. Before dinner, the guests drove to the Big Sandy Dam and also took a peek at Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Light's home. Those present were Miss Edith Ander son of Boring; Mr. and Mrs. Ehr of Portland; Mr. and Mrs. C. Rhode of Sandy; Mrs. Sipe of Damascus and mother, who is visiting her from Kansas; Mr. and Mrs. Jones and two daugh ters of Boring; Mrs. Pinchney of Portland, Mr. and Mrs. Ritter of' Boring and Mr. and Mrs. Norval!
