You can wonder at their origin, □nd at the people who are in them. During the past few weeks The Sandy Post has p rin t ed a series of old-time pictures taken by veteran Sandy photographer, Marshall Dav ies. When asked for identification, several came in. The four pictures below, for in stance, were variously identified as a picnic, dedication of the Loop highway, and a cere home on the Mt. It is the most overidentified picture of the series. M i l d r e d Stewart, bookkeeper at The Sandy Post, claims it is a picture of her father, Jack Barnett, and his truck in a Bruns- M clntyre logging operation about 1928-29. In the pic ture is Dale Stewart, Jack Barnett, and Glen McIntyre. Mrs. Ernie Harris writes that the picture was taken at the Old Sandy Lumber company in Brightwood in 1924 or 19- 25. The truck, Mrs. Harris writes, was owned by Ted Gray and used in hauling logs for Ernie Harris to the Sandy Lumber company. In the drivers seat is Ted Gray, to his right Ernie Harris, and standing on his left is Aug ust Beck.
