Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Creighton, Mr. and Mrs. Dorrell Petrie, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Merris, Howard Chaney and the Darr's daughter. The table was beautifully decor ated with calla lillies. The night was cold, 17 degrees, and clear, and the moonlit view from the i picture window facing Mt. Hood , was surpassingly fairylike. In honor of her 22 years of service as school clerk, the school board presented Mi’s. Creighton with a handsome piece of Sam sonite luggage. She entertained her fellow guests by showing them many old-time pictures of Government Camp and the moun tains.
