ANGLING REPORT
Rogue River salmon fishing
perked up considerably over the
weekend. Both boat and bank
anglers enjoyed scattered flur
ries of action but fishing is stUl
spotty.
Spin-glos appear to be the top
producer so far but spinners are
picking up a few fish.
The most popular areas are
Huntley Park and Orchard Bar
for bank fishermen and Elephant
R o c k and Kimball Riffle for
boaters.
Saturday, AprU 23, marks the
opening of trout season for much
of the state. C(n the south coast,
however, only Floras Lake is af
fected since Garrison Lake is
open the entire year. Both lakes
have been stocked fcr the week
end and should provide same
good fishing.
