At the first National Shallow
Water Research Conference,
held in Los Angeles, Dicken
described the growth of the
Clatsop Beach, which is of in
creasing concern to the Sea
side community.
Seaside, at the south end of
Clatsop, is disturbed by the
encroaching sand, which has
been in a slow growth phase
for many decades.
