The Great Smoking Mirror reflects the Lesson of leaving the myth behind. I am what I decide I am. Remove smoke screen that hides my natural Talents of worth, and stand tall. The one in hand is my Pilot friend, He writes so nice and always precise With a rolling V5 and an extra-fine ball, He is the one with whom I share all. My friend is usually quiet Until my brain is in a riot Then he scribes vigorously to describe it Which is when I have survived it. Another Altercation by Ron Sanford People may project their faults on others, And be extra critical of them But remember whose life you must live. We must expose the hate and yet love When people’s actions affect others, I see watch dogs coming to their aid! I would prefer the bark, not the bite Thank you so much for giving me space. This pen pal of mine is so dear But someday soon his blood will run clear, He’ll be no more with words so sincere So when it happens that another friend must be It does not always bring glee. A fine new friend whose life ambition is no sin Merely to live free, love deep, and breathe happiness again. There are so many things to be penned Within the heart of our family pen With all my lovely pen pals to the end.
