Page 13 Rage of the Human Machine by Aileen McPherson by Clayton Woullard Morning dire pull self out of the mire, head down, eyes hide, beneath soul cries, anger inside, no, fear writhes the night of mares has passed, how long feelings last like atom bombs long past, this too shall pass. How long have we raged against the machine and yet it persists? We cry and scream for what it has taken from us but what do we replace it with? We blame our politicians and those with wealth For how they compromise and corrupt our health But what do we gain when we corrupt ourselves Their machine feeds off of our suffering as if We are batteries of pain We surrender to the belief we are nothing more than meat puppets Which begs the question: who is pulling the strings? I am not getting esoteric or trying to push any pseudoscience In fact I am trying to implore you to look at our own modern science No supercomputer can match the power of the human brain Which means that machine of government, no matter how expensive or ornate Can never win over the complex and complete Algorithm our heart and mind computes every second Those who absorb themselves in hate and fear And believe their plastic and metal frameworks Can never overcome the power of the network of a united front of organic processor who have had enough Forever by Daniel Cox They’re in constant anger Fueled with love, they argue Forever.
