Richards, Paul West and Irene
took an airplane ride over
Portland this month thanks to
private pilot Richard Greensted.
Richard took the group for a two-
hour ride to take in the scenic
vistas of the Willamette Valley
and west end of the Columbia
River Gorge.
The airplane ride was the
inaugural event in Street Roots'
Health, Wellness and Leisure
Program, in which Street Roots
will be taking vendors to fun
events outside of the office each
month to thank them for the work
they do.

For the fifth year in a row,
Street Roots participated
in the annual Portland
Pride parade. More than
60 members of the Street
Roots family, including
more than 20 vendors,
marched through the
streets, standing up for
equity, inclusion and
solidarity with our
LGBTQ-identifying
brothers and sisters.
Nearly 1 out of 10 Street
Roots vendors identifies
as queer or transgender.
