Tender age of five can’t believe my eyes Discrimination Had to beat the odds Had to fight back and break from the pack Lemon emotion knew of my own faults I made bad choices trapped in shame and guilt You should know better! But that’s not the case The words can’t get through When you re out of place When you’re fighting back Listen to your mom! Sometimes she is right Mistakes multiplied can’t relive the past The words did get through The words of wisdom They re deep in my heart Some of them were true Then I’ll laugh and sigh, forget about dad Any wound can heal-your faith makes you well Keep on moving Moving on higher Got take the high ground Somehow you’ll survive Better dental health can lead to better whole health. A healthy mouth connects you to a healthy body. Just one of the ways we’re healthier as a whole. OHP-HSO-Ì 6-129 yourwholehealth.com CareOregon* health 1 Partner share
