Use these four simple steps to be part of the solution. Get Meet InformedlAction Vendors ■ Vendors — the men and women who sell the newspaper— are at the core of Street Roots’ mission. Each year, more than 400 individuals work as vendors with Street Roots. At any given time, throughout the city, approximately 80 vendors are at work, rain or shine. Vendors play an active role in the management of Street Roots, ■ With the money made ■ Street Roots is an award selling the new spaper,. vendors are able to secure basic needs, independence and dignity, and work toward obtaining housing.
