You can turn a rose into poison
by the voice of one’s heart
And darkness of the soul erases
outer beauty. Looking out a
window to another world, wondering
what the future may bring and .
after they take prayer out of
schools, but when you’re in court
for a date, better not be late. In a
world where evil reigns and pain...
But without pain we wouldn’t know happiness, so I guess we
could say it equals out. I watch
on, I wonder of life and thereafter,
Map, so complex. Could it be made
easier if we could all redirect.
There are some that know and
time will tell. Until then let’s
live a life in peace, surrounded by hell.
Go back to the beginning
Where the tree takes root
To grow this larger life
From a mixture of pain, failure, tears and triumph.
When big things seem small
And small things seem big,
Go back to the beginning.
Go to where the waves intermingle with the sand,
To where life is simple.
Go back to the beginning,
When you’re spinning your wheels
And everything seems frivolous.
Hide yourself in the cove of cliff
And meet the mountain.
Do what you are here to do.
So take these lessons learned,
For they are not in vain,
But grow into a larger body,
A more wise and whole being.
