OUR VENDORS ; PUBLICATION SCHEDULE Street Roots publishes every tw o weeks and is launched every other Friday morning. A t the heart o f Street Roots' mission are its hard w orking and dedicated vendors. Vendors buy Street Roots fo r 25 cents and sell the paper fo r $1. M ore than 50 vendors sell Street Roots in the Portland m etro area and Vancouver. Each vendor can be identified by a vendor badge and each is assigned to a specific territory. Vendors are em powered n ot only in their w ork to sell the paper, but many also contribute as w riters and production assistants. The m oney they earn helps them meet basic housing, food and health care1 needs.
