Political parties are made better by those members of
each orgomzation who vote for the men who have been
true to the peoples’ interests.
When a republican

any "!ember of some other party has proven
himself to be worthy of the tru st of the people, it is
natural th at the voters of all parties will favor him, and
the voter of any party, who will finally vote for the
man helps to clarify his party of those who would use
an office for personal or other interests- The Pilot de
sires to reccommend'several dandidates to the voters
regardless of political parties. Vote for these men next
Tuesday because of the records they have made iu pub
lic office, and we would head the list with
(.L < T E CHAMBERLAIN, for United States Senator,
He has been a friend to the W estern part of Lane
county and the people of Oregon for years, and
proven tru e to their interests.
Vote 13 X
E. Chamberlain.
LAW RENCE T. HARRIS, for Justice of the Supreme
Court, is a young man of ability and has a clean
record.
O. P. HOFF, for Labor Commissioner, experienced in
the work of this office. Don’t forget him.
ISAAC H. BINGHAM, for State Senator.
He has
always made a square fight and lets you know
w here you stand.
STACEY RUSSELL, for County Clerk.
A popular
candidate and county official.
.JA M E S C. PARKER, for Sheriff.
Ho has won the
right to re-election by his courtesy and attention to
the business of the office.
SAMI EL W. TAYLOR, for Treasurer. Sam is a civil
war veteran of sterling character and deserves to
be re-elect.
There are others on the ticket well qualified to fill the
positions th a t they have been nominated for, but these
men that the Pilot has mentioned have given exception
al evidence as worthy public servants and it is with a
desire to call especial attention to their m erit th a t they
are named.
