Contributed photo CCA issues call to artists Application deadline is June 7 Columbia Center has announced the call to artists for the annual landscape show happening in July. The theme is “Mother River: The Columbia and Her Tributaries.” “This year we are focusing on The Big River as our muse,” said a press release. “Artists are invited to submit their interpretations of the Columbia River (or one of her many tributaries such as the Klickitat or the White Salmon rivers, etc.).” Work in all mediums will be accepted, including painting, drawing, printmaking, fi- ber, photography, glass, ceramics, and new media. The goal of the show is to celebrate the stunning Gorge landscape with a specific focus on our rivers, said the press release. The application deadline is June 7. BIPOC, LGBTQ, and people with disabilities are encouraged to apply. The show will run July 2-31.
