AS I SEE IT! ZYXWVUTSRQPONMLKJIHGFEDCBA I This m onth is shaping up to be another busy m onth. There are already 3 birthday par ty invitations, M others day, Sasquatch Run and BBQ , Jakob and Sam arah m ake their F irst C om m union and lots of yard w ork! M y m other was an am azing wom an. She was a feisty, determ ined, independent person w ho was m y role m odel. She was the third child in a fam ily of thirteen (possibly 16) kids, w hose m other died w hen she was only 3 years old. She had several (w icked) stepm others (one w ho only fed them oatm eal fo r breakfast, she w ould gag at the sight even as an adult) but she loved her brothers and sisters. She had brothers and sisters as old as her daugh ters. To this day, I get confused w hether they are m y cousins or m y aunts and uncles! I think having so m any siblings taught her how to love, how to listen, and how to be a friend. I was only 6 or 7 w hen m y father had his spine crushed and was no longer able to sup port the fam ily. M y m other did! She w a^ a great cook and w orked hard to keep things to gether. W hen I w as 9, she becam e ill w ith pneum onia, w ent to the hospital and had a heart attack. I alm ost lost her but thanks to great doctors, open heart surgery and m any prayers she cam e out of this fine. O nce again, she w as back to w ork and thankfully m y father finally started receiving his S S I, so she didn't have to w ork so hard. She loved her grandchildren unconditionally, I w ish m y children could have had m ore tim e w ith her, but I know that she w atches over them . M y m other, m y best friend, how I m iss you! D on't forget to tell your M other, Thank You!
