C o a c h e s - J a c k D u n la p a n d ay T en n is ANP ay U a ^ x h b ah , $®OTW £SK w- ESw £wffli £ o u r t BA 865-3242 During the week of July 25,2001, basketball players in Butte Falls were fortunate enough to be able to attend a shooting clinic put on by coaches Jack Dunlap and Jack Mitchell at Butte Falls High School. & Dunlap, who coaches high school backetball in Pomeroy, WA, specializes in teaching shooting skills, as does Mitchell, who coaches basketball at Edison High School in Stockton, CA. About 28 players, ranging in age from fourth graders to high school, attended the clinic. They were taught basic fundamentals of shooting a basketball, such as stance, follow- through, aiming point, layups, jump shots, power layups, and shooting off the fast break. A great deal of learning took place, and everyone had fun doing it!
