[But, w e (do c h a lle n g e The B u t t e Falls High School Volleyball team w ould like to thank all of the friends and fam ily that supported us throughout the season. W e w ould especially like to say Thank-you to everybody that traveled to Eugene and cheered at the state cham pion Falls Scholarship thanks everyone who contributed to this years silent auction at the “ Christm as In The C ountry Bazaar ” . W e m ade $1500 to be given out for college scholarships Al and Jill M IHGFEDCBA ia lk o v s k y B u tte th is y e a r ! M y w ife and I had the m ost enjoyable weekend in Eugene recently. W e w ent up to cheer for our Lady Loggers in the state volleyball cham pionships. W e expected to have som e fun, and did, but be cam e away feeling very g o o d about our local girls and our com m unity. These girls played their hearts out up there. They dove for every ball, chased down everything and even when things didn ’t go their w ay at tim es, they never pointed a finger or even gave a team m ate a negative glance. If som eone m essed up they were encouraged and m ade to feel im portant by their team m ates and their fans. W hat a wonderful group of young ladies and we are very proud of them . W hen the dust settled they cam e in Sih place. O ut of 64 class 1A team s that is pretty am azing. Yes, there were som e tears but we hope they realize how fantastic they did. They m ade it to STATE, played like cham pions and m ade a good nam e for them their selves. M ow, we can hardly w ait for basketball! H
