Smokey Bear is V out and about this summer asking people to please be careful with fire when they are out in the forest. Remember to build your campfires properly and to put them out when you leave, even in a campground. The Fourth of July holiday is around the comer. REMEMBER that any firework is illegal in the National Forest. The new president is Gayle Koch, Lois Hamman Vice President, Ellen Moore Secretary and Ella Pingle, Treasurer. Regular monthly meetings will resume in September.
