DAY CARE --- SUMMER SCHOOL
fhe Valley Migrant League will provide
day
:aBe and summer school free of charge for childr­
en of all ages whose parents are working in the
'iilds. Children will be picked up in the morn-
,ngs and taken to the children’s centers, which
ire located in school buildings.
Children will
receive a free medical examination and medical
jtlention.
The program will provide a hot breakfast,litooch
jnd snacks, free.
The staff in the center will
lelexperienced, trained people.
More than half
aflthe staff will be migrant or ex-migrant moth-
srs. Last year all the parents were wall pleased
«/ifch this program.
Children will make' field trips to the capital,
tolthe zoo, to parks, and to other interesting
pieces.
In order to enroll you children in.this
day
care and summer school program, go to the VML
opportunity center in the area where you are
working.
When you come to Oregon, be sure to bring the
necessary papers.
If your child has received a
relcent medical examination, bring any medical
report that you have; also bring a school -with­
drawal form if one is available.
ADULT EDUCATION
H T h e Valley Migrant League can set up classes to
help farm workers improve their lives. We want
to hear from you, so we can decide what other
types of classes you would like us to offer.
So
to any of our seven opportunity centers and tell
us what you want to study. This is the only way
we can be sure of meeting your needs.

El programa proverà un

muerzo, y comidas gratis.
Las personas que cuidar­
án los piños tendrán ex­
periencia.
Mas de la
mitad de las personas
que trabajan serán tra­
bajadores o ex-trabaja-
dores.
El año pasado
los padres tenían gusto
con el programa.
Si Ud. quiere regis­
trar su niño en este pro­
grama de cuidar niños,
vaya al centro de opor­
tunidad en el area donde
trabaja.
