Charges can be amended or dismissed.) *** Sunday, Sept. 11 *Andrea Dawn Haselow was detained in Josephine County Jail (JCJ) following her arrest at 12:43 a.m. near the 400 block of McMullen Creek Road. Haselow had a felony no-bail supervisory authority warrant from Josephine County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO), charged with probation violation for first-degree forgery. *Diane Marie Sheldon was arrested in the 300 block of Caves Hwy. at 1:49 a.m. Sheldon was cited to appear in Josephine County Circuit Court (JCCC) Oct. 6 for failure to appear (FTA) on four counts of misdemeanor driving while suspended (DWS) and one of recklessly endangering another person. *A citizen heard vandals Tale s fro m th e Ru ral Patro l breaking windows with bricks in a vacant home in the 200 block of Raymond Street at 3:47 a.m. Monday, Sept. 12 *Property was damaged, and an Oshkosh diesel pusher motorhome and a green Silverado pickup truck were stolen from the 4700 block of Lakeshore Drive between Aug. 12 and Sept. 9. Cannabis- growing items, dehumidifiers, pumps and dryers were also missing. a commercial business, so the noise ordinance did not apply, especially just people talking loudly and having a good time. (Try earplugs.) *There was a ruckus at Jubilee Park at 6:27 p.m. after a car was hit with a beer bottle. One guy was in a headlock, and another sicked his dog on the wrong people. The hoopla settled down by 6:40 p.m. *A mother and three children were on a quad when it rolled over near the 3400 block of West Side Road at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13 Thursday, Sept. 15 *At 7:41 p.m. a gal in the 200 block of Dogwood Lane figured that messages were from her ex-husband, because it sounded like the tone, language, and words he would use. *Security cameras revealed a fellow sleeping at a business in the 24300 block of Redwood Hwy. at 12:02 a.m. When he was told to leave via speakers, he just turned over. He finally left upon request at 10:35 a.m. *A citizen reported a hostile motorist in a silver-colored Ford Taurus in the 600 block of Glendon Road at 2 p.m. on Sept. 14. *A driver obviously needed the services of Eye Care Group, because he ran into their sign at 7:30 a.m. on Sept. 14. Then Wednesday, Sept. 14 *A glass door at Dairy Queen in the 200 block of Redwood Hwy. was shattered by a rock at 8 a.m. *At 1:16 a.m. a grumpy gal complained about noise from Lost Camp Bar & Grill. Tuesday 09/13/2022 700 blk LOGAN CUT DR, Lift Assist 24000 blk REDWOOD HWY, Traffic Accident 25600 blk REDWOOD HWY, Fire Assist to Public 200 blk MERLOT DR, Carbon Monoxide Alarm Friday, Sept. 16 *Danny Smith Jr. was arrested at taser point following a foot pursuit at 12:57 a.m. in the 400 block of S. Redwood Hwy. Smith was detained in JCJ for misdemeanor elude and a warrant from JCSO for probation violation on three original charges of unlawful use of a weapon. *Andrew Benito Cruz Martinez was taken into custody at 12:08 p.m. near W. Watkins Street and Schumacher Street. Martinez was detained in JCJ on a felony warrant from JCSO for probation violation for second-degree arson. *Timothy Rain Davis was detained in JCJ following his arrest at 9:38 a.m. in the 300 block of S. Redwood Hwy. Davis was charged with third- degree theft and first-degree criminal trespass. *There was a minor traffic collision between a 2011 Ford F750 split dump truck and a white Toyota Prius in the 7400 block of Takilma Road at 8:20 a.m. Information was exchanged, but the Prius driver was adamant about leaving because she was running late to a yard sale on Hummingbird Lane. *Facebook posts were scrambled regarding the welfare of chickens that were delivered to the Cave Junction branch of United States Post Office at 1:32 p.m. The peeps were in good condition, according to a hen-pecked postal employee. *Two characters were served with criminal subpoenas in the 100 block of Krauss Lane at 2:44 p.m. Travers Wight Davis-Johnson was cited to appear at Jackson County Circuit Court on October 17 for a warrant from Jackson County Sheriff’s Office for third- degree theft. Amy Hodges had a misdemeanor warrant from JCSO for failure to appear, so she was cited to appear at JCCC on October 5. *A home in the 6600 block of Rockydale Road was burglarized for the second time, according to a report at 5:45 p.m. Gate locks were broken, there were holes in the walls, and beds, toilets, air-conditioner units, and other items were stolen. *Canadians reported that their 2013 Golf VW Sport Wagon was broken into while parked near Rough and Ready Creek Bridge at 7:31 p.m. Missing items include clothing and a wallet with driver’s license and debit, credit and medical cards.
