Charges can be amended or dismissed.) *** Monday, Jan. 29 *At 9:34 a.m. a highly- impaired individual wearing a red plaid hoody was causing a scene in a lobby at 222 Lister Street. The fellow left, flailing his arms, and talking to himself about having an SKS and a Tech 9 and going to Compton. He was upset because his shoes didn’t fit him, so a kind soul told him they would try to find him a pair. He was warned for disorderly conduct and trespassed from St. Mathias Episcopal Church. *A gal in the 200 block of Stevenson St. has been helping a 30ish younger man, feeding him and she even did his laundry once. He was becoming hostile and aggressive towards her, acting like he has a brain injury. She wanted him trespassed from her house because the needy fellow was knocking at her door at all hours of the night and day. (No good deed goes unpunished.) *Crystal Herrell, 20, was taken into custody at 1:26 p.m. at 120 S. Hussey Avenue. Herrell had two felony warrants from Grants Pass Department of Public Safety (GPDPS), for parole violation for unlawful use of a weapon, intent to use, menacing, and failure to appear for possession of meth. Josephine County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) held a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear for contempt. Herrell, aka Angel Llerreh, was transported to Josephine County Jail. (Aka liaj.) *The piercing shriek heard near the 700 block of Caves Hwy. at 5:47 p.m. was a sump pump issue. Tuesday, Jan. 30 *A short-sighted fellow driving a gray car with half a windshield was chasing a woman in a silver-colored Honda near 205 W. Watkins Street at 9:21 a.m. *At 4:01 p.m. there was a report of shots fired, and someone on the ground at a house with lots of junk in the yard in the 400 block of S. Old Stage Road. Law enforcement searched the property, but found no evidence of a crime, and nobody saw anything. Wednesday, Jan. 31 *A gal was driving toward Crescent City at 10:25 a.m. when a gray-haired guy wearing a Carhartt jacket tried to get into her car at 202 S. Redwood Hwy. *Joseph Lee Bollom, 27, was arrested at 11:47 a.m. at 202 S. Redwood Hwy. for an Oregon State Parole Board felony warrant. Bollom was detained in Jo Co Jail, charged with parole violation for weapon use. *Jennifer Gwen Thomas, 46, was detained near the Jo Co Building at 12:43 p.m. Thomas had a misdemeanor warrant from GPDPS for failure to appear for second-degree trespass and second- degree criminal mischief. She was cited to appear in Jo Co Circuit Court on February 21. *Law enforcement obtained consent to search a vehicle in the 24000 block of Redwood Hwy. at 3:08 p.m. The Datsun had been reported as stolen in December, but the registered owner never followed up on the paperwork. A Husqvarna chainsaw and 40-caliber Glock were not registered as stolen, but a concealed dagger was seized as evidence of unlawful possession of a restricted weapon. Justin Robert Calderon, 37, was charged with failure to appear for felony fourth- degree assault. He was cited to appear in Jo Co Circuit Court on Feb. 21 in lieu of custody. they were the aggressors, but there was not enough evidence to prove a crime. Thursday, Feb. 1 *At 12:12 p.m. JCSO dispatchers received a 911-call from a frightened woman who said she was near Rogue River Hwy., Friday, Feb. 2 *Jon Paul Guches was arrested near Kerby Mainline and Upper S. Reeves Creek Road at 12:23 p.m. Medford Police Department wanted Guches, 45, on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear for driving under the influence of intoxicants. Guches was detained in Jo Co Jail. Saturday, Feb. 3 *An alarm in the 3800 block of Dick George Road at 9:11 a.m. may have been caused by someone using an incorrect pass code at Cannaguard. (Short term memory loss?) *Neighbors allegedly plowed down property line stakes and through a creek, causing damage in the 5700 block of Deer Creek Road between Feb. 1-3. *It’s not baseball season, but a bald guy was swinging his long wooden bat at a property owner in the 100 block of E. River Street at 5:23 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 4 *There was a domestic dispute in the 100 block of Hogue Drive at 3:17 p.m. Both parties admitted I.V. GUNS & AMMO 541-592-3349 but the phone tracking was hitting in the 100 block of Holton Creek Road in Kerby. A deputy was unable to locate signs of anyone in distress. *A fugitive who was apprehended near 202 S. Redwood Hwy. wasn’t really wanted that badly. Joseph David Ainsworth, 39, had a misdemeanor warrant from GPDPS for failure to appear for possession of meth. He was cited to appear in court on Feb. 15 in lieu of custody. *A hostile hombre driving a maroon Buick figured he has a constitutional right to drive without a driver’s license or registration. When a deputy noticed the expired tags at 3:49 p.m., he pulled the driver over near 103 S. Redwood Hwy. Mr. Special recorded the officer with his phone, as he demanded his badge number. The driver was warned for failure to carry and present an operator’s license, and for interfering with a police officer. He was cited for driving while his license was suspended, failure to carry proof of insurance, and improper display. (Expired tags don’t count.) *At 4:37 p.m. a motorcyclist admitted that he was traveling faster than 90 mph because he wanted to make it from San Francisco to Eugene without staying in a motel.
