I told you so: I’m not usually one to say, I TOLD ya so, but this is The Exception. Not really CJ, but as regards the ‘growing’ Civil War in Williams echoed by The Valley News recent article. Ah, the chickens, nay, the turkey vultures, are indeed coming home to roost. I have lived in Williams, and it’s mainly ALWAYS been a very cliquey, standoffish, hippy ghetto- ---a literal dead end ‘town’ with one basic way in-or-out(unless of course you didn’t mind using certain ‘robber roads’). This is what happens when you FULLY leagalize anything. Careful what you ask for. Actually, this has become a microcosm of Oregon and the so-called “American Way”, as some might say. Well, how ya liking it NOW! Your dream has become a waking nightmare of your OWN making. You sanctimonious frauds. The only thing that you know less than is what you CAN in fact CONTROL, which at this point IS next to nothing. You ARE the quintessential hippy stereotype. Ah, less IS more, dude...it’s all good. Just a little seed, moderate growth... hardly any work to it. Just sit back and let The Weed do it’s thing. EXCEPT that when you LEGALIZED it FULLY, The Cartel was at the ready, duh...with all of their money, resources and ambition, like it or not. You didn’t hafta compete before, and now you CAN’T. In fact, some of your ‘kind’ neighbors SOLD you OUT; but isn’t that the way it ALWAYS seems to play--- no honor among thieves, nor pot growers? You’re tying to make some sort of legal exemption, yet you’re discovering the difficulty, if not impossibility, of that. That is definitely NOT an option, because you have no real legal recourse. Here’s 2 suggestions: 1) Turn to Jesus; 2) Maybe build a ‘ Weed Wall’, of Industrial Hemp, where you can ONLY hope to smoke yer way in Or OUT! There are good people in Williams; and I am totally PRO Medical...but what you have cher’ is a nest of hippie hypocrites from Hell (like the alliteration?) Nevertheless, your Paradise has become your Purgatory. You hippy-dippies are meeting your long overdue Karma. There is a 3rd option, trouble is that involves BANG, BANG, AND BANG!!! You can pull some, but they’ll pull out more. Remember the lyrics, “Send lawyers, guns and money!” Oh, yeah, cuz with those 3, they can get all the drugs that they can use, or sell. So, are you ready to go all the way for your ‘principles’? Too many snowflakes, and the Genie is out of the bottle. I believe in miracles, I just don’t believe in y’all. Good luck; but it’s gonna take a whole lot more than that. As Vince Lombardi once said, ‘Luck favors the prepared.’ Well, that pretty much makes everything rhetorical for you, doesn’t it.
