Reader believes in her county I believe in Josephine County and I choose to invest in its future. I hope you will, too. I believe that my neighbors who volunteer to save homes tirelessly to provide books to families, who tend to animals in need, and who strive to keep our communities safe, are also people who care deeply about Josephine County. They show this every day with their hard work. I believe that the money I will pay to support the community I choose to call home is a small amount. It is certainly less than the cost of boarding up our businesses, allowing our children’s imaginations to go unfed, and failing to provide emergency care for each other in times of crisis. I believe in you, my neighbor, even though I may not know your name. I will invest in your safety, in your children’s education, and in our shared future. I believe that together, we are worth it.
