*JCSO dispatch received three
calls at 3:38 p.m. when the owner of
a teal 1991 Honda Accord spotted
his stolen vehicle in a parking lot
of the 76 gas station in Selma. The
license plates had been changed,
and the other driver claimed he
purchased the car for $500 from an
old lady. A suspect was in custody,
and the Accord was towed.

*An unknown vagrant with
shaggy dark hair was loitering for
days around the U.S. Post Office in
Selma. He was harassing customers,
sleeping in the parking lot, then
moving inside to sleep as soon as
the building opened. The nasty dude
was told to move along when he
defecated on the floor. His excuse
for not leaving was his broken-down
primer-white Nissan pickup truck,
with license plates registered to a
1988 Chevy Camaro.

*A guy in the 1400 block of
Rockydale Road said that a white
GMC short-bed crew cab with a
camper shell and California license
plates followed his wife to her work.
The driver was an ex- tenant, and
he was accompanied by two other
guys. The truck returned and pulled
up to his gate, then a shot was fired
from the passenger side. The driver
was known to stay on Airport Drive
and Draper Valley Road. A report

there was a newspaper dated Dec. 17
inside. (Great for lining bird cages.)

left behind the passenger, who was
the registered owner of the car, and
she was warned not to drive her
Galant until the broken window was
replaced.
*A white 1987 Mercedes 190D
with Wisconsin license plates was
snowed in at Eight Dollar Mountain
on Jan. 9. When the owner returned
to the car on Jan. 16, the rear
passenger windows and trunk were
damaged, and the dashboard was
ripped out. Items stolen included
a Walther P38 semi-automatic
and leather holster, social security
card, birth certificate, books, stereo
system, tools, snow chains, indoor
grow light, Mac notebook, Dell
laptop, and Mercedes wheels.

the civil outcome of the divorce.

block of Deer Creek Road at 1 p.m.
