Charges can be amended or dismissed.) *** Monday, Nov. 21 *Josephine County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) served a restraining order (RO) to an individual in the 300 block of June Drive at 2:05 p.m. Supervision was provided during the 20-minute move- out. *A deputy did some investigating in the 200 block of Millie Street at 2:49 p.m. *The driver of a blue 4- Runner was warned for driving on a suspended license at 3:06 p.m. at MP 28 on Hwy. 199. Outside the Valley *Eight incidents. Tuesday, Nov. 22 *A deputy patrolled Illinois River Road at 10:08 a.m. *Campers at Little Falls Campground on Eight Dollar Road were warned for the length of their stay at 11:17 a.m. *The restraining order and move-out on Nov. 21 did not apply to the remaining squatters in the 300 block of June Drive. The property owners were advised on the civil process of eviction. Animal Control will follow up on a report of someone being bitten by a dog as she attempted to serve eviction papers at 11:20 a.m. *Items that had been stolen recently from 116 N. Redwood Hwy. were returned to their rightful owners at 12:17 p.m. *A 911 hang-up call was received at 1:23 p.m. from the 100 block of Enchanted Way. *An alarm was activated in the 5000 block of Waldo Road at 4:58 p.m. Outside the Valley *Sixteen situations. Wednesday, Nov. 23 *At 12:58 p.m. a gold- colored Nissan Pathfinder was abandoned at the north end of Hussey Avenue. *Information and assistance was obtained by a deputy at 1:26 p.m. at MP 14 of Deer Creek Road. *A landlady in the 300 block of Pine Tree Way would not let her tenant get his property, including his 1986 Nissan pickup truck at 2 p.m. Both parties were advised of their options in what appeared to be a civil issue. However, since the tenant had already paid rent through the end of the month, he would need to sign a stolen form if her stubbornness continued. *Investigation continued in the 300 block of N. Sawyer Avenue at 3:54 p.m. *JCSO assisted Oregon State Police (OSP) with an investigation in the 5000 block of Waldo Road at 3:58 p.m. *Facts were gathered in the 200 block of Millie Street at 4:20 p.m. *Grinches in a brown pickup truck cut down a large fir tree on Bureau of Land Management (BLM) land at MP 5 on Rockydale Road at 4:25 p.m. David Rogalski, 58, was cited to appear in lieu of arrest, charged with theft of special forest products. *JCSO checked the 29000 block of Redwood Hwy. at 4:25 p.m. *There was a car about a mile from the end of Fernwood Avenue at 4:31 p.m., and it had been sitting right in the middle of a dirt road for at least three days. The car was secured, the ignition was not punched, and it was on private timber land, not BLM or U.S. Forest Service land. *A car was in the ditch near Hwy. 199 and Deer Creek Road at 4:32 p.m. *A pickup truck was back in the trees on Lurline Lane and Laurel Road at 5:19 p.m., but it was on private property. *At 5:47 p.m. a deer was struck by a car near the Kerbyville Museum, but the plucky buck ran off. Outside the Valley *Twenty-one entries. Thursday, Nov. 24 *At 5:57 p.m. a tenant at Ol’ Jo RV Park and Campground complained that the manager didn’t like her indoor cats, and he swears at her regarding where she parks. She is worried that he might do something more physical. *A resident in the 5500 block of Rockydale Road was the apparent victim of identity theft. Capital One claimed that a duplicate credit card had been obtained, and $1,500 was withdrawn in person from the Chase Bank in Grants Pass. Outside the Valley *Fourteen incidents. Friday, Nov. 25 *A man checked on property in the 300 block of June Drive at 9:02 a.m. and reported a restraining order violation when he saw a certain motorcycle parked there. A gal at that location felt that she could not legally be made to leave because she was helping to take care of the property at the previous resident’s request. She was sadly mistaken, and was given 15 minutes to remove her belongings. And the motorcycle. *Medical and fire- fighting personnel pulled a disabled motorcycle out of a ditch on Laurel Road and Walters Drive at 11:35 a.m. *Domestic violence was reported in the 200 block of Kinnikinnick Drive at 2:58 p.m. The woman with a black eye insisted that there was no assault, she was not hurt, and that any pre-existing injuries were from playing around. (Fifty Shades of Denial) She was advised of her options. *A gal in the 400 block of Beebe Drive had problems with the neighbor’s dogs charging her small dogs, so she fired her gun into the air to scare the canines. She was cautioned that if she wanted to frighten the mutts, she needed to point her firearm safely into the grass and dirt instead of firing into the air. (Gravity is a law that should not be ignored.) She was referred to Animal Control for future issues. *JCSO stopped by McGrew’s Restaurant and Lounge at 4:34 p.m. to ask some questions. *Notes were faxed to Department of Public Works regarding a dead deer in the 3600 block of Rockydale Road at 6:08 p.m. enforcement arrived. *There was a motor vehicle accident at 1:58 p.m. on Deer Creek Road at Redwood Hwy. OSP assisted with the exchange of information. *A disorderly character was causing issues at 24342 Redwood Hwy. at 1:58 p.m. *A woman had not missed any payments on her storage unit at 181 N. Old Stage Road, but she noticed her belongings were for sale online. At 3:47 p.m. she discovered the lock on her storage was not hers, and when the unit was accessed, items were missing. An online report will be filed. *At 5:06 p.m. a deputy patrolled Jubilee Park. *A child phoned 911 from 336 S. Kerby Ave. at 6:05 p.m. She wanted to know if she could have her phone back.
